13.   Rogue River Store & Rental Shop

The RREVDR Store & Rental Shop has a Store and Rental Shop department for a diverse range of recreational programs, products, services including an area for organic farm food.  It services all the river sports rentals including kayaks, rafts, canoes, mountain bike rentals, fishing, panning for gold accessories, hiking and swimming apparel.  The RREVDR Store & Rental Shop works closely with the Recreation Department and the Learning Center networking with various pro-grams, events, services.  The Rental Shop also provides various training and instruction programs, tutorials, children activities, group events, guided river tours in Kayaks, Canoes, White Water Rafting, group and also provides individual instruction programs on fishing, panning for gold and kayaking.  The RREVDR Store & Rental Shop also has a duplicate digital bulletin board that the Learning Center has  showing all resort events, performances and can also book events, lectures, seminars, work-shops, concerts that the Learning Center, Recreation Department, Amphitheater are providing.  The RREVDR Store & Rental Shop also works with all 22 Green Anchor Businesses in the service programs, cross-promotions and marketing campaigns.

The store department has gift store items, recreation accessories, apparel, arts & crafts, souvenirs.  Visitors can also shop for farm related hand crafted gift items, farm gift baskets with a variety of choices of products.  The  store department has a large selection of unique gifts with a variety of sustainable living, organic farm, renewable energy themes from farm equipment like John Deere and farm animals to sustainable farming souvenirs.  Visitors can have a fun shopping to make their own custom farm basket by choosing the products, choose the vessel, choose a theme, and be creative in the arrangement,  Visitors can add farm fresh fruit and combine with a diverse selection of products and themes like spa baskets, care packages, holiday themes with your perfect expression of senti-ment, be it romantic, holiday, or business related. The store department also has a separate organic farm fresh food area for all the organic farm produce and meat products, fruits, cheeses, nuts, breads, organic snacks and beverages.

Opportunities exist for this Green Anchor Business to operate and manage the Recreation Department Green Anchor Business. With the river programs and river sports rentals, there is a good tie-in to link these 2 green anchor businesses. Opportunities are available to work with Federal & State agencies to diversify the Rogue River Recreational Tourism that can include expanding neighboring parcels that border the destination  resort with river front access that are owned by Oregon State Parks, Oregon State Fish & Wildlife and Jackson County.

 

All 3 agencies want to develop and participate in programs to expand Rogue River access through the Rogue River Recreational Use Manage- ment Plan for recreational tourism in boating, kayaking, rafting, fishing, swimming, mountain bike riding, hiking. These programs can create trail and road access and land steward maintenance programs and creat- ing strategic partnerships with agencies with shared revenues.

The Coalition of 23 Green Anchor Businesses is a major part of the RREVDR marketing campaigns where ecotourism agencies worldwide will book various types of RREVDR destination retreat packages.  Each of the 23 Green Businesses are networked into ecological, social and economic sustainability while working together in marketing and cross-promotions campaigns internationally.   All 23 Green Anchor Business are integrated into equity partnerships with exclusive international RREVDR branding rights tied to proprietary services and products, intellectual property, options for participating in research and development contracts, sales and licensing agreements, merchandising and revenue sharing that includes destination resort tours, entrance fees, various eco-resort and green recreational ecotourism programs and packages.  

Each Green Business will purchase land parcels for their anchor business and will fund and build their own separate business infrastructure developments, construction, employee base and have their own separate business identity and proprietary equip-ment.   They will be able to use the applicable RREVDR green electricity, water, sewage, waste management and all the destination resort services listed in the RREVDR Green Anchor Business Agreement.   

 

Each of the 23 Green Businesses listed below will be part of the RREVDR international brand messaging, cross-promotions, brand packaging and will share in the resort revenue profits.  All 23 Green Businesses will participate and make available their respective business service in RREVDR green eco-resort tours for public, schools, strategic partners, tour groups, media, celebrities and research programs worldwide.
